SHEEP STILL EASIER. (Sy Telegraph.—Special to Cuardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs Aiatson and Co. report as follows regarding the above sales on Wecl nosday. Fat Cattle.—There was a medium yarding and the quality was well represented. Prices showed no alternation to lust week’s prices. Best steers sold up to £22 ss; ordinary £ls to £l6; unfinished and light 611 to £l4. Cows anil heifers £l.O to £ls. Freezing buyers got a fair proportion of tlx* yarding. Store cattle.—There was an exceptionally small yarding and no lines <>! any size except 30 Hereford suckers, extra good, which made £6 10s. Dry cows hail an improved demand. Several small lines of 3-year old steers were passed. Fat sheep.—There was a very lieav yarding and prices, especially for men--i’lix sheep, were slightly easier, •throughout. B*st avethers sold to 45s (sd; prime 33s (kl to 395; lighter, 29s to 83s ; ewes’,'best to 435; prime 31s to 36s (id; medium. 27s 6d to 30s; light and inferior 17s to 25s (id.
