CABLE ASSOCIATION * REUTER, j LONDON, May 14, Sir Douglas Haig reports at 10 p.m, as follows:—“After heavy artillery fire, the euemy attacked on a mile' front, south-westward of Mdrlancot'frt (below Albert). They entered our positions at one point. The Australians counter-attacked and completely re-established our line. The attack was repulsed at other points with heavy loss. Our casualties were very light. The report adds that the French in local fighting repulsed an attack in the idrection of lvleinvierstrant. INCREASING ACTIVITY. f AUSTRALIAN & Ef.Z.
