LCNLiCN, May 8. Sir Douglas Haig reports: On ’fteunesday morning the enemy’ launched a strong local attack against the AngloFrench between La Clythe and Voorinezele.

After heavy fighting the centre of the attacking force entered the Allied front line at certain points.
