SCHOOL BAZAAR.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —May I beg your indulgence in order to let your readers know the result of our Bazaar. The total cash receipts were £l7s Os 7d, made up as follows:—(Peerless Pictures, £l7 os; Old Pupils’ Stall, £36 18s 6d; Fancy Stall £33 5s 6d; Committee’s Stall £23 Os 7d; High School Stall £lB Os Od; Produce Stall £ls 4s 3d; Woodwork Stall £ll 9s sd; 'J'ea Rooms £9 13s Id; Dip £7 16s sd; Sweets’ Stall £4 18s id. The expenditure was:—Picture (for the raffle) £3 10s; Chronicle £l, Guardian £4; Dip £5 7s ; clock 12s 6d ; hire, of crockery 11s 6d; freight, cartage, telegrams and stamps £1 5s 7VI. Total expenditure £l6 6s 7d. Credit balance lodged in Hokitika Savings Bank, £l6l 1.45. This amount will he augmented by sundry small sums still to come in. I desire most sincerely to thank all, parents, friends, Old Pupils, the Committee, the Band, the military authorities and* all those who assisted ‘ with donations and personal service—a list far too long to give in detail—for havincr assisted the school to achieve such a result. 1 feel deeply grateful.—l am, etc.— L.
