, ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Tho usual fortnightly fixture* took place at the above yards yesterday. Tho yarding comprised 106 head of cattle and 35 fat weaners. There was tne usual attendance of buyers, but competition was decidedly slack and the sale dragged throughout. Beef per hun. dred was, if anything, easier' than at the last sale at these yards. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold on account of -Mr D. Roberts, I bullock at £ls, 3 bullocks at £lO 10s, 11 heifers at £10; on account of Mr J. Diedrich, 4 bullocks at £l3 12s Gd; 4 heifers at £lO 10s, 1 cow at £l3 : 10s, 1 at £l2 10s, 2 at £ll 10s. 1 »t £lO 10s, and 6 heifers at £10; on account of Mr J. Jones, 2 cows at £l3, S heifers at £lO 10s, and 2 at £10; on account of Mr H. Adamson 35 fat wethers at 33s 6d. Messrs G. W. Moss and Co. sold on behalf of Mr R. Adamson, 8 bullocks at £l3 7s Gd, 8 ditto at £l2, 2 heifers at £9 13s Gd, 1 at £9 10s, 1 at £9 5s Gd, 1 at £9 2s Gd, and 4 at £8 12s Gd-.
ARAHURA FAT STOCK SAKE. Messrs M. Houston and Co, report as follows: Wo held our usual sale at the above yards yesterday, our yarding consisting of 9 bullocks, 18 heifers and 1 springer. Owing to the very heavy yarding at the sale, prices were somewhat easierXand sales were difficult. We sold on account Mr T. Harris, z bullocks at £l4 17s 6d, 3 at £l4 12s Gd, 2 at £l3 2s 6d, 2 at £l2 12s 6d; on account Mr 11. Diedriehs 8 heifers, at £9; on account Mr D. Bradley, 1 heifer at £lO 2s 6d, 1 heifer at £7 10s, 1 springer .nt £9 10s.
