(Received this day at 1.20 a.m.,) LONDON, May o. General Haig’s aviation report states there was mist yesterday, but it cleared slightly during the afternoon, and our aviators dropped nine tons of bombs on Chatlines railway and Estaires. There was little air fighting. We brought down one, machine and drove down four uncontrollable. Two of ours are missing. Two previously reported missing have returned.

Despite the continuance of unfavomablo weather at night time, our night fliers dropped 1$ tons of .bombs . on Chaulnes and Bapaume.

Sir Douglas, Haig reports that the French captured « number of men during local night fighting in the neighborhood of Loere. To-day there has been artillery activity and local encounters at different points. A French communique reports reciprocal artillery activity north and south of Anere and also, at Donsummont, Douamont and Fleury sectors.
