WASHINGTON, May 2. J Government has fixed tho standard price of crude rubber. Tho price is based oh sixty-oents for fine Para rubber.
REDUCING WAR RISK
WASHINGTON, May 2,
W. Delaney, chairman of the War Risk Insurance-Bureau, announces that despite several reductions in the rates the profit amounts to $17,000,000. Submarines are becoming less effective owing to the excellent convoys. The rate will shortly be further reduced f to less than three per cent-.

Mr Raker giving evidence before the Senate Committee said Ainerica’-s Army for France was only limited by the ability to equip and transport the men. He could not present figures, but ho said that the equipping and transporting faculties were constantly increasing.
