WEDDING BELLS.

SULLIVAN—BOYLE

A quiet wedding was celebrated on Thursday at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Reefton, the contracting parties being Mr M. J. Sullivan of Cook’s River, South Westland, and Miss A. Boyle of Ross. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr M. J. Boyle, was attended by her sister Miss M. Foyle as bridesmaid, aud was attired in a silver grey'costume relieved with white facings, with grey velour hat to match, and carried an ivory bound prayer book, the gift of the Rev Father Riordon of Ross who tied the nuptial knot. Tiie bridesmaid wore a dark grey eostume and cerise velour hat. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr L. Sullivan of South Westland, The bridegroom’s gitt to the bride was a beautiful moonstone necklet and pendant, and to the bridesmaid, a handsome emerald and diamond bangle; the bride’s gift to the bridegroom was a gold albert aud pendant with sovereign case attached. The church was nicely decorated tor the occasion and bridal and wedding marches were played by Miss Muller (organ) alul Miss L. Muller (violin). After the ceremony the wedding party motored to the residence ot Mr A. M. Carroll, brother-in-law of the bride, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of. After the health of the bride and bridegroom, and the usual accompanying toasts had been duly honoured the newly wedded couple left by special car for Greymouth en route for Australia where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride’s going away dress was a fawn coloured gabardine costume with hat to match.
