POLLARD’? PICTURES, BESSIE LOVE AND THE TRIANGLE KIDDIES. On Moneliv evening Bessie Love and the six Triangle Kiddies is one of the best Triangles ever shown entitled “A Sister of Six and The Ghost Ship,’’ the 7UI episode ot “The Secret Kingdom will be Pollards picture attraction in the Princess Theatre. A genuine surprise story, is told in “A. Sister of Six.” It features Bessie Love and six of the clever Triangle kiddies, but its plot, is oi a totally unexpected kind. It commences with scenes in which the pathos of a lamily of seven orphans left suddenly 'to the tender mercies of a harsh old uncle, and swiftly turnsto ■ a stirring .melodrama of the Californian border. A rich Spanish rancher has his eye ,on the Wintlirops’ property, which he has discovered to contain a gold bearing reef. His method /of getting it is his own, and is quite regardless of law. He collects a gang of reckless desperadoes "and makes open war. There are some unique scenes when the children all realise that something serious is afoot. They rush for hiding places. - The final scene is intensely dramatic. The little heroine finds herself cut oft from the homestead, and alone in an isolated cabin with the leader of the band. In desperation, as he forces his loathsome attentions on her, she snatches a rifle and shoots him dead. The setting is wonderful and full of realism. Spanish dancing of a wonderful kind is seen when the scene opens at the time that Spanish customs still remained supreme in the border of California and Mexico. Ralph Lewis, well known for his wonderful portrayal of Stoneman in “The Birth of a Nation,” is the crusty old uncle in “A Sister of Six.” - “ The Ghost Ship,” the seventh episode of the big Vitagraph serial “ The Secret Kingdom,” is. a/weird and sensational one dealing with the fate of Count Ramon, who is drinking heavily and haunted by remorse, i'lie mutiny of the officers and crew against Captain Ramon and his marooning by the crew in company with Madame Savaty are big features in this very strong episode.
