2500 PRISONERS/TAKEN.
, * LONDON, April 19. A wireless German official message -states: ‘hollowing the retreating enemy w e captured Zonnebeke and drove back the enemy from Steenbrook. A counter thrust south of Blankaert Lake checked our forward movement. We gained ground north of the Lys.' We took over 2500 prisoners during the past few days, and numerous mach-ine-guns.
A strong French "thrust north of I‘l.rey sanguinarily failed. French attacks north of Moreuil broke down.
