LIVE STOCK REPORT. About 200 fat.and store cattle, and about 350 sheep and lambs were yarded at the Central Yards, Preston Road on Monday. There was an unusually large attendance and a new departure was made in offering the store stock in the first instance. The yarding of store cattle, was indifferent and did not attract buyers. The sale drag-
ged and lots were hard to quit. Most of the entries were passed under the hammer. The yarding of lat cattle was most- creditable, the entries coming from South West, land, Arahura Val Icy and Kokntahi, aiul the prices realised on belialg of vendors were considerably greater than could he obtained in outside markets.
