A Palestine official messagp.r states; There was fighting-all day on'the coast al sector last Wednesday.
The Turks and Germans penetrated oar advanced positions in the direction i.f Bor akin El Eefr, but they were ejected. We advanced our lines at several points and inflicted substantial losses.
A Turkish attack on the east bank of the Jordan, in the vicinity of Elghornnyieh on Thursday was broken with ln-avv losses.
Under artillery, our mounted pursued the retreating enemy within a short distance of Shunetimirim. • ' The attack astride of the JerichoNublus road, westward of the Jordan, was .also repulsed.
