(Received This Day at 11.25. a.ln.) .0 ■' LONDON, April 2. General Haig reported this morning that between the Avre and Aisne our artillery broke two counter-attacks* with heavy enemy losses. We completely repelled a further counter-attack.

OFFICIAL NEWS.' WELLINGTON, This D.-v. The High Commissioner reports from London, April 3rd at 12.50 p.m. Sir Douglajs Haig reports between the Avre and the Luce, also at llebutterne, we have captured 123 prisoners and sixteen machine guns. Counter attacks were repulsed with heavy loss to the enemy.
