BOWLING.
The Singles Championship of the local Club has been advanced towards completion during the last few days. The winners of the respective sections were Blank, Thompson, Boyd and Stevenson.
On Friday and Saturday, the following semi-finals were played:—Blank 18, beat Thompson 15 ; Blank 17 5 beat Boyd 16; Blank 16, lost, to Stevenson 17; Boyd 25, beat Thompson 15; Boyd 17 beat Stevenson 16; and Stevenson 15, beat Thompson 12. This made a tie, Blank, Boyd and Stevenson having two wins and one loss each. mi. blank’ champion. The ties of the final of the champion ship were played off yesterday afternoon and resulted—Blank 1 1. beat Boyd 14.’ and Blank 18 beat-Stevenson I].' This gives the championship for the year to Mr. G. H. Blank, and lie we] l deserves his success, having plavo'd very consistently right through the competition. The following are the C’hampionst. for past seasons, 1909- Mr J. Downey. 1910- —Mr .1. T). T). Crawford, 1911- Mr D. Stevenson. 1912- —Mr D. Ardell. 1914- Mr D. Stevenson. 1915- Mr. D.
