Store Cattle—There was a small yarding and comprised of odd lots and it was hardly possible to give any reliable quotes, but the market was easier right through. A small line of 4 yr. old steers made £l4/2/6, yearlings £5/10/- to £7; dry cows to £9. z. Fat Sheep—There was a fair yarding and the market was firm at last week’s prices. Best wethers sold lo 43/-; nrimc 35/- to 41/-; lighter 29/6 to 34/6. Ewes sold to 38/6, prime 30/to 35/6: lighter. 26/6 to 29/6;, in ferior 23/- to 25/6. Lambs for Ryan of Rotomanu, realised from 31/3 to 32/0.

Store Sheep—An exceptionally heavy yarding was mostly shipped stuff. The market was specially good for lines of owes, but. much easier for forward), wethers, while best lambs were in good demand, flood 4,6,8 tooth ewes sold to 36/6: others, 27/- to 33/-: in ferior 23/to 26/-. Good wethers, 28/- to 31/-; lambs, good, 22/6 to 24/9. The market shows a decidedly easier tone, except for the best stuff.
