RIFLE SHOOTING
KANIERI DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. The. final shoot for Mr Win Hall’s trophy was fired on the Kanieri Rifle Range on the 9th last and resulted in a substantial win for President George Head, flh> light was changeable but file wind steady from 3 to 6 degrees right. A record shoot was put up by Prosit cad' who made the brilliant score of 103 off the Rifle and he is to be congratulated on again reaching the covet ed century: his detailed scores reading thus:—at 300 yds ‘4, 5, 5,5,5, 5, 5,. —34. At 500 yds. 5, d, 5, 5. d, 5,5, —35. At 600 yards. 5,5, 5,5, 5, 4, 5, —34. Total 103.1 t will bo remembered that Pres. Head put up 101 off the rifle in the first shoot for this trophy and his total score reads as equalling the best shooting in the DoMinion. The Scores are as follows:
