RED TRIANGLE CAMPAIGN
WELLINGTON, March 13. The South Island is still leading in the Red Triangle campaign by more than £3,000. ,'Thei totals are Sduth Island £28,290; North Island (excluding Auckland) £25,900. The details are:—Wellington City, £12750; Wellington military area, £l3, 150; Dunedin, £8540; Otago and South land military area £5,lOCf. North Island anticipates regaining the lead soon by further large sums from Hawke’s Bay, and Wairarapa. The National Secretary of the Y.M.C.A has received a letter from Douglas Seymour, General Secretary for New Zealand of the Returned Soldiers Association, containing the follow ing.—‘“The Executive has decided to give its very cordial support to your Rod Triangle Day Efforts, and commends the campaign to the support of all Returned Soldiers Associations and all Returned soldiers throughout Now Zealand. Nearly every returned soldier had at some time come into contact with the Y.M.O.A. work and the executive tntsts your organisation will he completely satisfactory in its ef-forts.”--Contributed,
