LONDON March G. Air Lloyd George said he would j move the adjournment of . the House] ‘in connection with -,,r Redmond’s ] death ; hue urged it was necessary i to carry on the business. There was ] no difference of opinion regarding the ability, genius, eloquence, judgment, I and dignity with which-Air Redmond ! advocated the Irish policy. It was a j tragedy that bo should he cut down jj before ho achieved the great purpose j of fliis life. When I saw him last j said Mr Lloyd George, he was a Tiro- 2 ken man and death was written on his ] face. JTis last words were a plea j for concord between the two countries.
Air Asquith said Air Redmond’s death was an indescribable shock. Air Redmond was a great parliamentarian and a true patriot, The House- Ireland, -Britain and tile whole Empire were impoverished by his loss.
CONVENTION’S' REG RET. LONDON Ala roll 6. The Press Bureau states that the Irish Convention has passed 'a resolution expressing sorrow for Air Redmond’s death, and tributing his invaluable service.
