THE KOKATAItI SALE. At the above yards yesterday, Messrs \\ . Jeffries and Co. held their usual fixture. 'Jlho yarding comprised 2l< head of cattle and 60 sheep and lambs'. The attendance was large and included some Canterbury buyers, whose competition assisted in tinning up prices. In consequence, bidding was keen from start, to finish. Young stock and wellgrown steers were well sought for,,and made excellent prices. The following are the principal sales: iS'HEIEP.—For V. Boaia-r, pen fat aethers, 345, pen fat lambs 22s 3d, pen f.m. store ewes 12s 9d; for J. Gimmick, pen fat lambs, shorn, 23s 3d.
