Several British steamers were seen on January 24th,' when the Igotzmendi was in the Gulf of Mexico. The German crew prepared to sink the Igotamondi; but Susaetn. the Spanish first officer, threw all tbe bombs overboard. The British steamers passed unsuspect Skisaeta was court-martialled, and admitted throwing the bombs overboard. He declared that he could not, allow the ship to he sunk while women and children were aboard. Snsaeta was locked up till the Tgotzmendi stranded.
