Eg] in ton (South Wairarapa) sold at 21ogns to Eric Riddiford, 70gns to G. E. Allen, Signs to G Allen, 50gns to G. E. Allen, SOgns to Masted (Tapanni); W. Raynor sold at ISOgns, two at GOgns to Paul Hunter (Porangahau); AV. Perry sold at 270gns to W. H. Buick (Masterton), 90gjis to H. Williams, 56gns to Maxtpd (Tapanni); C. Wagland sold at GGgns to A. C. Herbert (Pohgaroa),, 82 gns and 55gns to Paul Hunter.
I Wliatman, of Masterton, purchased a stud Romney 'ram for 40gns at the fair, and put it up to auction in aid of the Wairarapa Returned Soldiers’ Club. The animal realised £438. To this amount Mr. Whatman contri- “ 10s, O. A. Cameron £IOO, G. E. Allen, and R. Morrison £25 each, C. Wagland £lO 10s, and L. Heckler and H. Horton £lO each.
