The adjourned 'Nottingham Conference of the Labour Party resumed r.t AVestminister,' to consider the new constitution. cabled on 23rd January. Two hostile amendments, by the Independent Labour- Party wore defeated. A Socialist amendment- preserving independent parties ns part of the representation on the executive was rejected.

The ‘Daily Chronicle’s” Milan correspondent states the authorities have discovered instances of shameless trading with the enemy in silk and cotton, shred, suitable for the wings of aeroplanes and airships. Commodore Gneichs, the president, and other directors of Lombard gilk and Thread Co with a capital of half a million sterling have been arrested.
