ARAHUKA FAT STOCK SALK
The A rail ura Fat Stock Sale was held in the above yards yesterday and the entry consisted of GO head of fat cattle and 10q sheep.
.Messrs G.-AV. Moss and Co sold on account of Air J. Purcell, 12 prime heifers from £ll/10/- to £9/17/6, 7 fat cons from £l2/5/- to £9/15/-,. On account of Air H. A Finch, 5 store steers from £B/15/- to £B/10/-, 1 con- at £7/5/-
Alessrs AY. Jeffries and Co sold on account of Air J. Olsen 17 prime Bullocks from £l7/15/- to £l6. One bullock bought by Air .). J. .Jones for £l7/15/- was kindly donated by Air Olsen to the Patriotic Fund. On account of Air. J. Deidriehs, S bullocks from £l3 to £l2, 4 heifers at £B/12/6, 4 cows from £9/2/6 to £715/- and 1 prime vealer £5. This was bought by Air Burrmves and donated by Mr Diedrichs to the Red Cross Fund On account of Air J. Anderson 29 wothoik at 29/-.
Messrs AI. Houston and Co. report the sales of fat stock at their Arahura Yards yesterday as follows: There was a very full yarding, prices realised being on a par with recent sales. Our entry consisted of 32 head cattle, which were all cleared at satisfactory prices, with the exception of 6 bullocks, which were passed at £l4 15 s —the offer not being quite up to
vendor’s opinion of their values. We sold on account Lyes Bros, 3 vealers at £5 10s, 1 cow at £lO, 1 stag at £9, 6 bullocks passed at £l4 15s; on account H. Diedrioh, 3 bullocks at £l6 2s 6d,
2 at £.14 10s, 2 modi am licifcrs £ll 12s Gel, 8 light heifers at £9 10s ; on account of G. Mclntosh', 1 bullock at £ls, 2 at £l4 17s 6d,53 handy-weights at £l2. 1
