BOWLING.
HOKITIKA V. GRBYMOUTH.
The ‘Hokitika Bowling Club sent up a five rink, team and also a rink o'f colts to Greymontli on Saturday afternoon to play a game.for the Ballinger Buckles, held by the Grey Club. The latter were successful in holding ohe trophies, an interesting and very enjoyable game resulting in a win for Greymontli by the margin of eight points, Hokitika winning three rinks, and Greymouth two and the colts’ game. The green was in capital order with a line sward, and was true and fairly fast. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies and done full justice to. The usual complimeutary speeches were made by Messrs W. Wilson (Hokitika), J. Fletcher (Greymonth), the respective Presidents, and hearty cheers were given for both . .Clubs and the Buckles winners, who were again the rink skipped by Mr Spiller.
