A GERMAN REVOLT. AMSTERDAM, Feb. 22. German recruits at Beverloo Camp, informed that they are going to the front, were ordered to sing the “Watch on the Rhine.” They refused, and an officer drew his sword. The recruits, whose comrades shot the officer, and suspects were courtmartin lied and shot the same day.

Addressing'the Fatherlands, von Tir•ptw declared that they must show superiority in . tenacity. The Western Powers constituted the greatest danger. Unfortunately, intensive submarinism, was so long delayed that the enemy’s counter-measures impede its speedy effect. We shall bold out longer than England. He added, Belgium remained the pivot of the war.
THE KAISER’S REPLY. I “reuter’s” tecegram.] WASHINGTON, Feb. 23. Replying to a congratulatory message from the Agricultural League, the Kaiser exhorted the people to close their home ranks for the last groat fight.
GERMAN PROPAGANDA. (Received This Day at 9.50. a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 24. Evidence was submitted before the Senate’s House Committee disclosing a nation-wide propaganda; by the National German-American Alliance t-o defeat the nomination of either Mr Wilson or Mr. Roosevelt, prior to the last Presidential election. The President of the Toledo Chamber of Commerce produced a letter, allegedly written by Bartholsy, a former Congressman to the Alliance, declaring “we must use our’votes to return only those favouring Germanism.”
