SHOCKING TREATMENT OF WOMEN. (Received This Day at 9.50. a.m.) ROME February 24. Austrians and Germans continue to plunder, destroy and rape like savages throughout the occupied Italian districts. Many women and-girls suicided as the result of the soldiers brutality. The inhabitants are left starving, the Germans fearing they would revolt if taken to prison camps.
