An elderly married woman, Mrs E. Bisehoff died suddenly at her residence Maori Point, Greenstone, on Saturday last. Deceased was about 70 years of age. Ghe resided with her husband, who is a goldminer. Her health has not been good of late, and she was suffering from heart disease. On Saturday her husband went to work as usual, and on returning home in the afternoon, found his wife lying on tlie kitchen floor quite dead. She had been engaged washing, and was in the act of preparing dinner when she fell on the floor, and expired. Deceased had been under Dr Scott, of Rcefton, during the year, and as there were no suspicions circumstances connected with the death, an inquest will not be held. The deceased, who is well anil favourably known in the district, will be interred in the Greenstone cemetery.
