The launch Waritana, owned by Pickim Bros., of The Port,, Nelson, struck a rock at the Groixelles this morning, and s,ank. A fishing party on hoard got clear in the boat, and wei’e picked up and brought to Nelson, by a passing, launch, arriving this afternoon.

FATAL TR AM ACCIDENT. WELLINGTON February 15. Jolin Walters (42) manned, was killed by the Kelburn cable car. Walters who was working on the track was struck while getting away as the ear approached.
