POLICE CAPTURE SMOLENSK. AMSTERDAM, Feb. 10. \ Advices from Vienna state that the Poles captured Smolensk from the Bolsheviks. RED RIOT IN FINLAND. MURDER, and pillage. COPENHAGEN February 10. Finnish travellers from Helsingfors state that a hundred are killed daily in the streets. Russian sailors armed with swords and bayonets dash from tile warships killing indiscriminately. Hordes of ■gathered ruffians are plundering and murdering in Helsingfors. The harbour is strewn with corpses Paving stones in the streets are red with blood. Two members of the Diet were murder ed, and the fate of five others is unknown. Hie Hotel Kernys, where many foreigners were residing, was bombarded, While murder and pillage is at their height. A proclamation is distributed in the streets calling on the people to resist the red terrorj and calling on the officials to dono&il important Government documents. Many soldiers are sick of the slaughter, and are desirous of reftii niug ,tb -Russia ; but. the Red Guards prevent them, even imprisoning some of the liussian soldiers. AN AMAZING INCIDENT.
