General Haig reports, hostile artillery activity in the neighbourhood of Havrineourt Wood, southward and northward of Lens and the neighliourhood of Menin road. Our aeroplanes dropped five tons of explosives on hostile railway stations and other targets, also li tons on an aerodrome south-eeastward ol Cambrai and on billets. All our machines returned.
