A large delegation representing all local bodies on the 'West Coast, left here today, meeting Canterbury representatives at Arthur’s Pass, on a visit of inspection to Otira Tunnel, which is in measurable distance of completion. The tour will occupy two days. Increasing interest is being displayed by outside capital in opening up large pastoral lands on the Coast, which are being rapidly taken up. Coast-rear-ed cattle are bringing highest prices in the Canterbury markets. j
