A notice ro teachers salaries appears in this issue. The Rimu No. 1 dredge washed up on Saturday for a return of 38 ozs 4d\vt» for 100 hours dredging. Mrs J. V, Hall of the Occidental Hotel was advised by the Defence Minister on Saturday that her son Private A. P. Woolhouse (Fred) had been admitted to the Military Hospital at Tooting on January 18th, complaint not stated.
