A mil lion yards of cloth provided 200,000 • suits, at 57/6 apiece, is available from the clothiers, eliminating the middleman. Thiee millio n yards of standardised flannel will shortly be issued at 2/- a yard. A WHISKY COMBINE. LONDON, Jan. 24. ' Arrangements arc completing to form a combine to control the Scotch whisky trade. Seven firms are involved including 'Buchanan’s Dewar, Watson’s Walker’s, with a capital of fifty millions. .
