LONODN, January 22. The annual Labour Party Conference to be held at Nottingham on Wednesday, 23rd is one of the most \ mportant in history. - Over a thousand delegates will attend. The agenda intrudes a- resolution providing that the Labour Party shall withdraw from the Government. THE LABOUR CONVENTION. ["RKUTER’s” telegram.] LONDON January 22. Mr. Arthur Henderson has circularised the Labour delegates attending Nottingham Convention, setting forth war aims, whereon British Labour, in his view, should insist if it is to supply the Government with half a million more men which is now demanded. These aims include the repudiation of annexations, indemnities po-st-war trade, boycotts, and any sort of militarist settlement, but to demand reparation for the wrongs ,bv nations and individuals. Labour stands to-dav as it has always stood — for the absolute freedom and integrity of Belgium, Serbia, Montenegro, and Roumnnin and for the establishment of a League of Nations and internation ftl disarmament. AN ELECTION PENDING. Received, this day at 8.45 a.m. LONDON January 22. Henderson, labour member, addressing a conference of the Women’s Labour League at Nottingham, said he believed a general election would he held between July and September.
