DOtMl X lON TO ORNAMENT. (3y Telegraph.—Special to Cuardian.) DUNEDIN, Jan. 10.

The Dominion Bowling Tournament began to-day, when the pairs matches were commenced. Rain intjirferred with the play. In the afternoon on Ka-ikorni green 11. Williams and W. Wilson (Hokitika) lost to Brown of United. to Carswell of Taieri. and Slater of Oamnru, and won from Hall of Carterton., Anderson and Stevenson (Hokitika) on the Otago green, lost, to Page of Lyttelton, Manna of Invercargill, and Spiller of Sydenham, and won from Nel son of Auckland. Hokitika howlers are very pleased with their hospitable reception and are on joying themselves.
