The training at this school is designed to prepare boys for, Ist ; Engineers to attain rank as engineers in charge of foundries, mines, or other work, or marine engineers.

Every parent and every boy should seriously consider the great opportunity offered here for a sound start in life. As a parent of a pupil at the school J. cannot refrain from expressing my gratitude for the extraordinary interest the instructor takes in his pupils. Not content with the schedule hours he has aroused such interest in his class that they put in many extra hours studying actual working conditions, in tlie foundry on the Dredge Mawhora, and aboard trailers, to all of which places they are given free access through file courtesy of the managers • I am, etc., GEORGE A.
