Official. —Further information regard ing the air raid on Mannheim, of tho 24th. states two of our formations of air machines crossed the lines at 8,000 to 9,000 feet and arrived at their objective simultaneously. Despite heavy accurate anti-aircraft fire they dropped bombs from a height of thirteen thousand feet. Four hursts were abserved in the main station several in Lanzwork, two in Ludwigshaven and several in munitions factory between Mundenheiru and Rheingonnheim. Two enemy formations of eleven machines were encountered hut they did not attempt to attack at close range. Anti-aircraft defences around Mannheim appeared to be strong and brought down one of our machines.
