ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. The usual fat stock fixture at the above yards, was held yesterday, when Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. offered 25 head of l'at cattle 2 pens of fat sheep and several pens of fat lambs. There was a fair attendance of buyers, notwishstanding the holiday, and evei)thing was cleared at- prices equal to late rates. The only easing in prices was noticed in cow and heifer beef which varied in price from 42/- per hundred to 46/-. Ox beef •maintained its price ruling at late sales. The following sales were recorded: On account of Mr. H. Karnbach; Three prime bullocks at £l7/5/-, one ditto at £l7/10/-, three ditto at £l7, Two medium bullocks at £l4. Three atj £l4/2/6, One heifer at £l2/10/-, Two ditto at £1:1/5/-
On account of Mr. D. Roberts: Two prime bullocks at £ls/17/6, two medium ditto at £l4/5/-, one ditto at £ll/17/6, two ditto at £lO/10-, one heifer at £ll/2/6, one ditto at £lO. On account of Mr. Baird: Four fat sheep at 27/6, 24 lambs at 2.1/-. On account of Mr. T.G. Mcharry: 15 lambs at 21/-. On account of Mr. R. Harcourt: 20 lambs at 21/-.
