WASHINGTON December 25. Official advices received here state that General Sir Edmund Allenby’s troops have advanced to' a line nine miles north-east of Jaffa, driving the enemy towards the .lordan. Earn Rev has surrendered. The Mesopotamia campaign is being continued successfully. Russian Cossacks forces are co-operaling with the British.
