On arrival at Hokitika she loads a- large quantity of wool for Wellington. t The conference of representatives of the National Efficiency Committees is now sitting at Christchurch? Fifty delegates are present from all parts of the Canterbury Military District. A large number of matters are set down for discussion. To-day a deputation from the Conference waited on Sir Joseph Ward in regard to railway matters. Mr. H. Norman is representing the Westland Efficiency Committee.
