POLLARD’S PICTURES. On Thursday evening at the Princess Theatre the World’s Film Company. “Vera the Alodium’’ with the attractive Kitty Gordon in the leading role will he presented by Pollard’s Pictures. The play is. an adaption of the famous novel by Richard Harding Davis, the well known War Correspondent, who made his hit of the year with his work “Vera The Afedium.” Kitty Gordon as the adventures s gives a splendM representation of that type of woman who is the embodiment of all that is dangerous in womankind. Vera the Siren of this drama wears a collection of gorgeous dresses unequalled on the screen. The story is based on a terrible wager made’’ by the Siren who lia's promised her hand against one thousand dollars that she will bring to her feet the man who has dared to disregard her charms. “Luke’s Shattered Sleep” a Pathe comedy supplies the humorous portion of the programme to ho screened. “Picturesque Norway” and a “Topical Budget” oentaining many of the principal events that are occurring in London and at the Front will uphold the World Big Star drama “Vera the Aledium.”
