Hostile artillery is very active. A later message announces that we had regained a considerable portion of the trench. GERMAN GUN LOSSES. PARIS December 15. A secret order signed by Ludendorff shows that German artillery losses are alarming, and proving that the number of guns lost monthly by a single German army was 870 field guns and 585 heavies. Allied bombardments knocked out eight hundred. Other losses were duo to wear and tear.
