The other adjoining 1 buildings were saved. The damage is fully covered by the insurance. SUPREME COURT. JURY DISAGREES. ! . AUCKLAND. Tiny Day. At the Supreme Court a Jury disagreed on a charge against Hannah Matilda Dalton of having caused the deth of a married woman, Vera Baker by an illegal operation. The Jury were discharged and a ,new trial ordered. Accused was bailed in £3O and two securities of £l5O each. SOLICITOR IN TROUBLE. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 30. Application was made by the Canterbury Law Sociotv at the Supreme Court to-day for Luther Hopkins to be struck off the roll of solicitors.
