Hodler, a councillor at the British Embassy, in a speech, said the Allies bad sank or captured thirty-nine submarines during the fortnight ended 15tli November. (Holder’s statement is unofficial and is not confirmed.) THE ROCHESTER SURVIVORS. (Received, This Da.v at 8.50. a.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 28. Survivors from the torpedoed Rochester have arrived, after terrible sufferings of five days in an open boat- in the intense cold and little food. They were waterless for two days, and three died within sight of land.
