Application for the last Commonwealth War Loan included two thousand Australians at the front; who invested over £IOO,OOO, which comprised their undrawn pay. A MILITARY RATD. (Received This Dav at 10.15. a in.) BRISBANE, Nov. 28. In connection with the anti-con-scription campaign, the Military raided the Government Printing Office and seized a thousand copies of Hansard purporting to contaiu a report of the recent- debate in the Assembly on Military censorship.

Tt appears thati the anti-conscription-ists, including Premier Ryan, and subsequently debated on the question in the Assembly. The Government Printer ignored the Censor’s orders not fo publish the report of tlio debate. Hon. W. Hughes, Premier, alleges that this is the grossest misrepresentation under the cover of Parliamentary privilege. The State Government protested against the military action, and distributed special Gazette sheets containing details of the affair.
