Wireless German official: The British since noon hare re-attacked with strong forces south-westward of Cambrai. The fighting continues. Strong French advances commenced tfyis afternoon on the Craonne to Berry an' Bac front.
OF HELL IN FLANDERS[LONDON TIMES SERVICE —COPYRIGHT] Received, this day at 8.45 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 22. A Dutch correspondent declares that from present personal observation, he is convinced that a German disastei of great magnitude is impending on the West Front. Flanders is a vast shambles, and Belgium a huge hospital. The troops call Flanders “The Gates of Hell,” and consider they are sentenced to death if they are sent there. There ii s much disaffection and desertion there. There are 15,000 deserters in Holland, despite the vigorous frontier precautions.
' The frightful slaughter made on the West Front is a German nightmare.
THE KAISER’S DESIRE. (Received This Dajr at 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 22. The Kaiser, during a recent visit, was impressed with the gravest danger here. Shaking lii s fist at Passchedaele Ridge, he exclaimed: —"England,\nt all costs, must ho beaten to her knee's.”
