a shirker: CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Thomas Kiely of Greymouth, a First Division reservist, called for military service by ballot in July, was tried by a court-martial to-day on two charges. He was found not guilty of desertion, but guilty of being absent without leave when 'notified to parade for medical examination. The sentence will he promulgated in district orders.
