LONDON November 14. Mr. Massey, telegraphing from Gaza on the 12th., states tin.* general Allenby’s pressure, exerted v/ithout a moment’s pause, caused the Turks to lose part of the Wadi Sukerier line, along which they were digging eagerly for two days, and had thirteen thousand men entrenched at Sukerier behind the Wadi’s hanks. Mesopotamia official: After successful actions at Tekrit on the sth and 6th we remained there until Bth, the whole Turkish forces having withdrawn 30 to 50 miles northward.

General Maude occupies a position enabling him to hit all round. He has advanced up the , Tigris and destroyed all enemy stores. The Turks had two divisions there, and have now fallen back fifty miles. General Maude is coming back to the original positions, there being no advantage in keeping the advanced positions.
