Nov. 12th—Arrived at 7.30 p,m., s.s. Defender (Vasta) from Wellington, Pieton, and Greymouth.

SAILED

Nov. 12th.—Sailed, at 8.15 p.m. s.s. Paeroa (Jamieson) for Okarito.

The Paeroa sailed last night for Okarito with a general cargo of merchandise.

The Defender arrived last evening from Wellington with a general cargo. She loads timber for 'Wellington.

The Kennedy instead of the Waimea leaves Wellington to-day for the Coast direct. The Waimea leaves Pieton on Thursday for the Coast direct.

I HNION COMPANY'S LINE ! The Kowliai leaves Onehunga on I Thursday for Greymouth direct and will he available for ‘general cargo, arriving at the latter port on Saturday to load timber for Miramar and Lyttelton. The Ivittawa leaves Dunedin to-mor-row for Greymouth direct with general cargo arriving about Friday night to load coal and timber for Timaru and Oamaru.

The Kalcapo leaves Greymouth tonight for 'Wellington coal- laden. The Mapourika leaves 'Wellington today, Nelson and Westport tomorrow, arriving at Greymouth on Thursday and sailing again at 7.30. p.m. for Westport, Nelson and Wellington.
