NEW ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES
NORTH ISLAND COMMISSIONERS’
REPORT
! The Electoral jßoundaries’ Cornmis-
sioners for the North Island have now
practicaly completed their work, having heard and dealt with all the objections raised to the proposed new boundaries. Most of the objections concerned three hotels in the Auckland province, which had been included in the “dry” areas of Eden and Ohinetnuri. The re-' port of the Commissioners has not yet been presented, but it is understood that these cases were not difficult to deal with. The hotels have been restored to their former electorates. The South Island Commissioners have much more complicated tasks to dear with, and it is not expected that they will complete their labours for some time yet.
